The Sid Sweater

$0.00

Your pet’s new favorite (or most hated) sweater! The Sid Sweater is a stretchy sweater for cats or small dogs. This quick and easy project is perfect for using yarn scraps to make your pet something cute and cozy.

Please note that this is ONLY a downloadable pattern, not a physical sweater.

Materials:

60-190 grams of worsted to bulky weight yarn

6 mm circular knitting needles (16 in.)

6 mm double pointed needles (DPNs)

BOR stitch marker

To determine the correct size, take a measurement around the thickest part of your pet in the middle/tummy area to find circumference. This sweater design is very stretchy with 4 in. of positive ease worked into the pattern. There are three size options: small, medium, and chunky. In the pattern, the corresponding measurements are indicated as  (S, M, L).

Small (S): tummy/middle of 16 in. or smaller.

Medium (M): tummy/middle of 16 - 22 in.

Chunky (L): tummy/middle of 23 in. or larger.

All products are handmade. All art yarns are hand-dyed and hand-spun. Jacquard Acid Dyes are used for hand-dyeing unless otherwise noted.

All products are created in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. Once the yarn is spun, it is washed with scent and dye-free soap, then stored in airtight containers.

Yarn Care: Art yarn is NOT machine washable. Please hand-wash only! Use mild soap and warm water, let soak, wring out gently, then lay flat to dry. This includes all garments or items made with art yarn.
